I've been so busy this summer I haven't done much quilting, but that is about to change. I have a square-in-square block quilt that has been pieced and layered and is just itching to be quilted. Hmmm... been about 6 weeks since I posted a new journal and there haven't been any new submissions. Anyone see any quilts laying about dA that might be good submissions to the group? (I can't believe I waited an entire month to update the journal! Sorry about that.) First, I really enjoyed the conversation with ~unicornslave (https://www.deviantart.com/unicornslave) and :iconTwilight-Scribe: with the last post. I'd love to keep it up, so if you have any comments, chime in!! Second, I was wondering what you use as your "go-to inspiration"? Now, in the spirit of transparency I will admit I have an ulterior motive for asking this. You see, when I did the Twins' Quilts for my cousin's 2-year-olds it took me an exceedingly long time because I was waiting to be inspired. And I waited a long time for that inspiration. I had both fabric and pattern angst - I'd fi
